It's Been a While!

No, it didn't take me this long to recover from choir tour! Almost, but not quite.
Choir is in full swing and we are working on our Christmas program in a big way!
Come out and support our Car Wash next Saturday, October 13th and buy some Bar-B-Q while your at it!

Making Purple

Ok. So. It's almost Tour time and I'm reading through the tour documents and there it is again, for the fifth year in a row I see that Kerry says "no making purple". Well, I've always wondered what she meant so I decided to do a little investigating on the web this year. I've finally figured it out! Kerry hates Celtic music! This is a picture of a celtic band from Great Britain named..........you guessed it "Making Purple". So, remember when you are packing your cd's for tour, no innappropriate music, including, apparently, celtic music, is allowed! This will be strictly enforced! (Now I just have to figure out why she put it in the section on couples?)

The Sentinel has Died, Long live the Vans

Well, in case you haven't heard. The church bus has broken down again. Looks like we'll be taking all vans on tour next week. Oh darn! I'm looking forward to rehearsal Wednesday night and hearing both groups together at last.

Getting Ready for Summer Tour

Well it's almost that time! Summer Tour is fast approaching. For those of you who have never gone before I thought that you might like to see what you'll look like after a few days on the road.

Photo Editing

Over the last several years I've discovered that I really enjoy editing photos. I don't think I'm a graphic artist or anything, I just enjoy it. Here is one of my first efforts from a few years ago at combining multiple images to produce a different effect. This girl will be famous someday, count on it!

Thought I'd give it a Shot!

Hi guys! I thought I'd try the Blog thing since it's just about the only "new trend" on the internet that I haven't tried at one time or another. I take a lot of pictures but other than slideshows once a year, I don't share them very often. I thought it would be fun to post some of my favorites ocassionally with a comment or two and encourage friends and family to comment as well. Also, I love to edit photos and I can't seem to drum up any "business" doing it, even when I offer to do it for FREE or for a donation to our youth choir. Maybe this can inspire some of you to send me a few to dabble with. The picture in the header is from the New Creation Summer Tour last year (The Tim Tour) to Mobile, AL. I think this was the only full group shot that I took. You guys were great! I'm looking forward to this year's tour in Charlotte in just a few weeks!
